Public Disco Festival

Public Disco celebrates its tenth anniversary with a full-day electronic music festival on the North Vancouver waterfront.
The festival takes over The Shipyards with two stages and a lineup that includes Leon Vynehall, Fred P, Prosumer, DJ Holographic, and additional local and visiting artists. The waterfront location also makes it one of the more distinctive live music events happening in Metro Vancouver this fall.

Silent Movie Mondays: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

For a Halloween activity that is a little different from the usual haunted house, Vancouver Civic Theatres is bringing the silent-film era back to the Orpheum.
The 1920 film Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, starring John Barrymore, will be screened while organist Edward Norman provides live accompaniment on the Orpheum’s historic Wurlitzer organ.
The evening also includes a pre-show performance from the Gatsby Strutters Jazz Band and a post-film discussion about silent cinema.

Mitch and Murray Productions presents the Western Canadian premiere of Amy Herzog’s Mary Jane at Studio 16.

Wen Wei Dance — Last Solo

Canada Super60 returns to BC Place for its second season with six days of fast-paced T10 cricket.
Six teams will compete in 24 matches during the tournament, bringing Canadian and international cricket talent together in one of Vancouver’s biggest sporting venues.

October 23–25, 2026 | Pacific Coliseum
International short-track speed skating returns to Vancouver for the opening stop of the 2026–27 ISU Short Track World Tour.
Competition runs October 23–25, with the main spectator sessions taking place October 24 and 25 at Pacific Coliseum.
The event is particularly significant because it marks the first international short-track competition held in Vancouver since the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, returning to the same arena that hosted Olympic short-track competition.
